Our History

2004

In 2004, Gerald Brown purchased the lot which was formerly the Lucky Star Drive-in movie theatre . Wishing to preserve that history, he kept the namesake and began building Lucky Star Wash & Service Ltd.

2005

The building was completed in 2005 and opened its doors to customers for the first time. Initially consisting of 2 long drive-thru service bays and a wash bay, Lucky Star Wash & Service was now able to provide service to heavy duty trucks and trailers in the South Western Manitoba area.

2008

In 2008, a welding & machine shop was added to provide further services and jobs to the surrounding community.

2011

In 2011, an additional expansion was made to the building, creating a new drive thru wash bay and designated engine bay. A new parts and service department was also created at this time, allowing Lucky Star Wash & Service to increase its inventory to better serve its customers.

NOW

Since then, we have been providing complete, well-rounded service to our customers, able to address any need they might have with their heavy duty equipment
